Great stuff
“The federal government is sending each of us a $600 rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China. If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer/software it will go to India. If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. If we purchase a good car it will go to Germany. If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in US. I’ve been doing my part.”

Like, whoa..
The entire sum of existence is the magic of being needed by just one person.

angels and demons
not a bad flick, as everyone else has said - it's has a better pace than the previous dan brown movie which almost put me to sleep
i've read the book (which is better than watching the movie imho), but only in the cinema did i realise - the binary search algorithm could've been used when they were trying to figure out where in the power grid the bomb was in
guess parts of cse1301 from uni days are still in my brain somewhere

don't you just hate it when..
..you're the last person to touch something before it breaks?
yesterday i tried to fix a leaky toilet - all i did was turn off the tap that fills the cistern and now water won't flow when i turn it back on
plumber can only come in monday at the earliest, i feel like such a dick

..how to say 'generally' and 'technically' correctly
talk about a late education
talk about a late education
the difference between..
..loyalty and commitment, is that you can remain loyal w/o committing

The greatest thing
The greatest thing you'll ever learn
is just to love,
and be loved in return.

Always, be intoxic8d
You must always be intoxicated.
That sums it all up: it's the only question.
In order not to feel the horrible burden of Time which breaks your back and bends you down to earth, you must be unremittingly intoxicated.
But on what? Wine, poetry, virtue, as you please.
But never be sober.
And if it should chance that sometimes, on the steps of a palace, on the green grass of a ditch, in the bleak solitude of your room, you wake up and your intoxication has already diminished or disappeared, ask the wind, the wave, the star, the bird, the clock, ask everything that sings, everythings that speaks, ask them what time it is and the wind, the wave, the star, the bird, the clock will reply: It's time to be intoxicated!
If you do not wish to be one of the tortured slaves of Time, never be sober; never ever be sober! Use wine, poetry or virtue, as you please.
Charles-Pierre Baudelaire
1821-1867
